2000 Ford F-250 windshield wipers don't work?

I put a new motor in but it still doesn't work any suggestions please they haven't worked in years I just bought the truck

Maybe the switch is bad…

Switch or relay may be bad. Check at the motor wires and see if you have 12 volts.

Use a test light, turn them ON, and see if the test light comes on. If not, go to the fuse panel and ck. The fuse.

Guess that's what happens when you throw parts at a vehicle with out doing pin tests to make sure it's not a bad switch or a wiring problem. Did your new motor come with the module? Try running another ground wire to the motor housing.

Mhm

Get them repaired.

And you determined that the motor needed to be replaced HOW? Was there voltage at the motor? The switch? The fuse?

You need a wiring diagram, Ace.

Wiper motor, wiper motor connector, wiring, wiper switch, wiper switch connector, control module (if used), fuse.

Next stop is to get a wiring diagram and a voltmeter or test light, and trace the circuit.

Check whether your city library or nearby junior college library has a subscription to Alldata. You can look up your exact vehicle and get a wiring diagram.

My Ford Ranger has a GEM (Generic Electronic Module) that generates all the speeds for the wiper motor. It's in the dash, under the radio.

There's no way to tell on the internet, it could be easy or pricey. The older GM trucks had problems with the turn signal combo yolk switch shorting out to full speed and burning out the wiper motor delay control boards, involving pulling the steering wheel and clock spring out of the steering column to replace the then $350 column multi switch, $800 with labor 10+ years ago. You'll need a volt meter / test light and some wiring diagrams to chase it down if the fuse is good.

A quick search lead me to this module - http://www.oscaroparts.com/motorcraft-windshield-wiper-switch-sw-5665-20067823-4856-p

Module location diagram - I can't find it, maybe behind the glove box on the 2000 from what I looked at, 99 had it behind the dashboard mounted wiper delay switch right of the headlight and courtesy light dimmer control knob location.
