1995 Ford F-250 with the 7.3l diesel smokes blue. WHY?

Until the engine is completely warmed up it smokes blue. It is a thick blue smoke and goes away as soon as it has been driven for a couple minutes. The more days it sits, the more it smokes.
The engine only has 200000 miles on it.
Is this injector o rings or what?
any help would be great thanks

Oil is blue smoke
Fuel is black smoke
Water is white smoke

You are getting oil into the combustion chamber or the Turbo is weeping oil into the intake. Pop off the hose that goes from the Turbo to the air intake and see if there's evidence of oil inside. The Turbo oil seal could be beginning to fail and it has to get warmed up before it becomes pliable enough to seal.

Blue smoke generally means you are leaking oil somewhere in the engine hence the coloration you describe, you need to find the leak.

THE COLOR WOULD Help. WHITE MEANS WATER OR COOLANT. BLUE IS OIL. AND BLACK OR GREY IS TOO MUCH FUEL.

Blue smoke is oil. Most probably it is not the valve seals. If your turbo is leaking, you need to get that fixed soon. Check the air tube from the turbo to the intake on the engine. If there's oil there, the turbo seals are leaking and you can get a run away engine if it leaks too much oil. Otherwise, it sounds like your rings are shot and need to do a rebuild on the engine. 200,000 miles on a Ford diesel means that it is ready for an overhaul anyway. It is not like it is a Cummins or a real diesel engine.
