Dream of a start up car company. Unsure of how to start, but I'm ready?

I'm considering starting up a car company. I know it is a long shot, but this is America, anything is possible. Now i certainly don't know how to do it. I mean i know i can do it but i just don't see how to take that first step. I'm just filled with some questions.

Like;
- If I get loans, and such will i be personally responsible for them if my business is unable to make it?
- What is needed to start a company like I'm speaking of?
- I have my parts list, and am planning on using crate motors and other parts from companies, such as Ford, GM, Toyota, and other distributors. Is that legal to use their parts to make my own vehicle?
- If not legal, is there certain agreements I need to make with those companies to make me legally able to use their parts?
- I'm a poor college student, but I'm a visionary. I'm very hard headed and don't want to ruin my future ahead of me if this business fails, but I'm willing to risk years of my life starting this up. (Not a question)
- I have no money to put into this, so what is the best approach to getting the funding i need?
- Where can i go to get more advise? Preferably Free advise?

I'm very determined to make this my future. I'm passionate about cars, they would be made in America to help boost sales, and create publicity as a result of American Job opportunity. Most likely performance cars as to get my name out, but in the soon future of the company after successful establishment, family cars would be manufactured.

Keep on dreaming… With no cash, no history of work experience, no credit score and no business plan = zero chance of obtaining loans.
The amount of funds needed would be in the millions and nobody is going to fund your dream without you having a sizeable personal investment.
You are years away from proceeding if you don't have the answers to the questions you asked. Consider this answer the total amount of FREE
advice you're going to get.

Delusional…

  • What are the signs that a transmission is ready to fail? I have a 1995 Ford Taurus with 193,000 miles and a transmission that has never given me any problems. I keep hearing that it's about 50,000 miles overdue to go. Will I get any clues before the car leaves me stranded somewhere?
  • I'm ready to drive this truck off a bridge? I have a 2003 Ford Ranger and I recently have installed new shocks, tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joints, sway bar bushings and wheel bearings and this truck is STILL hitting every crack in the road as if it was a curb. It feels like it just slams into these cracks and feels like there's no shocks under this truck. I'm afraid that this is eventually going to do damage to all these new parts that was installed. I'm just lost on what to replace next. Any ideas?
  • What type of car is your dream car? I want a 1958/1959 Chevy Impala or Bel-Air or a Ford Mustang 1967 Fastback. I'm also curios to what others want as their dream car.
  • What is you dream garage (5 Cars)? I was just thinking of my Dream 5 car garage, mine results of: Cars: 1. 2008 Murcielago 2. 72' Ford Escort MkII 3. 72' Corvette Stingray 4. 69' Mustang Fastback 5. 2015 Nissan GTR Motorbikes: 1. 2014 R1 2. Triumph Thunderbird Commander So my question is what's your "Dream" 5 car garage? And maybe 2 motorbikes if you want!
