Does a ford zx3 have ball bearings?
Added (1). I'm looking to get a ford zx3 and I found one I like. The owner says ball bears and sounds like they mean it. I don't know if they are knowing what they are talking about just bearings. I never heard of car having ball bearings or anyone claiming this. I asked them and replied with the ball bearing is pressed into the wheel bearing. Some one help me here
As far as I know, ball bearings haven't been used in vehicles since the fifties. Tapered roller bearings are the standard now.
Where? All cars have these e.g. Wheel bearings.
There are still wheel bearings, usually two on each wheel. What was the context that he used? Does the car have a problem with a bearing? I'd get more details on exactly what he's talking about before any $$$ changes hands…
- Why do I have to replace bearings on a ford freestyle so much? Just replaced rear bearings on both back tires last yr. Its making the bearing sign noise, why do they go thru so many beaings
- What other vehicles have the same lower control arm/ ball joint assembly as a 2004-2009 Mazda 3? Trying to find a replacement at a junk yard, so far I know about the Mazda 5 which is compatible, wondering if there are any Fords that would have the same piece. A list of make/model/year would be great.
- Should I buy a Ford Focus Zx3 or should I look for a different car? I'm a male going to college as a sophmore next semester (this car will be my first car). Should I buy a stick or an automatic (I don't know how to drive a stick at the moment, but I'm willing to learn)? What do you think would be more fun? Do you think a ford focus Zx3 is a good car for me or do you have any other car suggestions?
- I have a 2004 Ford focus zx3 and I'm wondering the cost of changing it to manual from automatic? I want to start modifying my car but its automatic but I'm not really sure what the price of it is. Or do you think i should just get a new car that has manual transmission?
