Do you know why Chevrolet doesn't need another ZR1?

The new Z06 is too powerful for that - at 650 horsepower (C6 ZR1 had 638, and C6 Z06 had just 505).
In my opinion…
C7 Z06 (supercar) rivals: Galpin Ford GTR1, Dodge Viper SRT GTS, Hennessey Venom GT, LaFerrari, Lamborghini Aventador, Porsche 918, Gumpert Apollo, McLaren P1, Koenigsegg Agera R, Bugatti Veyron
C7 Stingray/Z51 (sports car) rivals: Dodge Viper SRT, Ferrari 458 Italia/Spyder/Speciale, Lamborghini Huracan, Porsche 911, McLaren 650S, Aston Martin Vantage, Nissan GT-R

EDIT: The Corvette, just like the Viper and GTR1, is actually mid-engine'd, not front-engine'd. FMR = MR FR.Do you know why Chevrolet doesn t need another ZR1 - 1 Added (1). Any questions/other reasons, please leave a comment. Added (2)… Err… Answer.

I don't think they're making a ZR1 model for the C7 Corvette
The C7 Z06 is already the track-preppy, badass model.
I'm guessing that they will make a ZR1 model in the future, but it will be in the same level as that new Hennessy Venom, much faster than a Z06

Mopar just released a 707 horsepower Challenger http://www.usatoday.com/.../12162823/
No, the horsey power race is still as big as it ever was. CAFE standards have made that harder, but the race is still on

Because they need money to pay their bills. Just so you know, I understand that you can see a picture of one if you search hard enough.
