Do I need to change the oil in the car after a cylinder missfired?

Had one cylinder missfire. Drove it maybe10 miles with that problem. Just changed the oil last week. Someone told me I may have gas in the oil from the missfire? 2005 Ford Freestar with 100k.

Added (1). Did lugs, coil, and wires.

Added (2). plugs

Added (3). That doesn't even make since any sense. Ido't call a person that didn't make it through high school and drinks a 12 pack a nigh a professional, or a dealer that chargesges you $400 to change 2 spark plug. A profesionl is a doctor or a lawyer. A car mechanic sn't a "Professional." He's a car mechanic. With that said, I'm going to the "Professional" hamberger maker at McDonald's, because I wouldn't want to do that myself.

Seems like your car needs a tune up something fierce though it's better to leave it to the professionals at the local mechanical repairs and servicing workshop or perhaps you can take your car to the dealers workshop but to directly answer your question - yes it's great to change the cars engine's oil especially if it's been in there for a while

If you pull the dipstick out and try to light the oil on the dipstick with a BIC lighter you can find out if there's gasoline in the oil. Just oil will not ignite and burn. If the oil on the dipstick burns you have gasoline in it. If you're sure you only had a misfire for 10 miles I doubt there's gasoline in the oil.

That first answr above. That doesn't even make since any sense.
