Did ford dealership rip me off?

So my car completely died back In November so I had it towed to Ford because I needed my car the next day for holiday travel. They replaced the battery and everything was good. Well I just got my oil change at valvoline today and they said my air filter tube was disconnected. So they connected it back. Do you think Ford disconnected it and forgot to connect it back? Or was it just to cause more issues with my car? I normally don't go to Ford for servicing or for anything really unless I think something may be covered under warranty… Which nothing is ever covered. Learned that the hard way. I did notice tho that when I got my car back, it did seem a bit off but ever since they connected that tube back I haven't heard anything.

"air filter tube"?

you should have asked the goofs at valvoline to show you the exact part

The dealer fixed your car. Valvoline saw a disconnected line and they put it back. NOTHING happened bad to your car. Move on.

They fixed your car and you got it back the next day and your still crying If they had of replaced the hose because they thought it might fall off and billed you what sort of cry would you have had then? It will probably come off again.

Like you never forgot to do something. Get over it. Nothing happened in all this time you had the car

If all Ford did was replace a battery, they wouldn't have unhooked any hoses.

I would trust discount oil-change shops like Valvoline much less than a manufacturer-franshised dealer like a Ford dealership. I doubt Ford "ripped you off." Maybe the hose was off before you took it there. Maybe it fell off later. Maybe Valvoline was trying to work up to selling you something extra. Maybe they knocked it off with knowing. Maybe…

Who knows! More importantly, who cares! If they did they did not cause any damage whatsoever.

If Ford did accidentally knock off the intake hose you certainly can't claim the "ripped you off".

They may have forgotten to reconnect it, or it may just have fallen off. Fords tend to have bits fall of them

Either they forgot to connect it or it came loose.
