Did any other car companies do this?
I noticed Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles have a keyless entry keypad. I know Ford and Lincoln still do this. Do any other car companies do this? I know pretty much all cars have a keyless entry remote.
The keyless entry pads are too easy to break into and hack. Therefore, they aren't very popular.
- Why don't car companies remake some of their classic car models if people like them so much? Of course safety is in mind because everyone would freak out if they didn't have a seat belt and air bags in every inch of the car, but why can't some of the companies just remake their best selling car models? Dodge could remake their 1948 Sedan and Ford could remake their 1949 Custom. I could list more but I can't think of any more classics.
- Why did companies become so greedy once Baby Boomers started running them? Henry Ford believed in paying his employees a fair living wage. Walmart believe in paying 9 dollars a hour
- If my power steering pump and pulley break, is there any other parts I may have to potentially replace? Last night when I was driving, my power steering pump busted and also broke my power steering pulley. I have a 2002 ford Taurus. In the process of the pulley breaking off, the serpentine belt came off. It is still on the car so I just have to re position it once the new pulley is on. My question is through this incident, could anything else have broken? I just did a bypass pulley for the AC compressor last week. And I also replaced the serpentine belt last week.
