Dealership sold me a car with wrong sized rims/wheels and tires?

I bought a 2016 model car at Keith Hawthorne of Ford in January of 2018 and shortly after I had an issue to where when my car went over 50 MPH the whole car would shake, including the steering wheel. I had a warranty and called the place I got it from and they told me to take it to Keith Hawthorne of Hyundai since that's what kind of car I had. They informed me that my rim was bent and that my warranty did not cover that. I did not have any extra $$ to cover the cost and decided to just deal with it until then. Yesterday I brought my car back to Hyundai due to a recall and to get my car inspected and they would not pass my inspection because they told me I have the wrong sized rims and tires on my car which is causing holes in the plastic part above and around the tire. Basically my question is if there's anything I can do through the dealership I bought at for selling me a car with wrong parts and now causing me to fail inspection and have multiple issues?

Used cars are sold "as is". If it was a new car, than you might have a case, but since it was used, you do not.

There's nothing you can do. You bought the car without an inspection that way - that was your decision. If the defect was concealed you might have a case but it would cost more to pursue than to simply fix.

Yeah. Tell the Hyundai dealership that their Ford dealership sold you the car exactly the way the way it is and if somebody doesn't do something about it that doesn't cost you money, somebody is going to get sued. Ask for the manager, and tell him that he needs to get with the Ford dealership manager to decide which one of them is going to fix the problem.

You need to be assertive. You can do that without being rude or getting violent. You need to keep your head, but you must stand up for yourself.

What were the terms of the warranty? And from whom was the warranty purchased? From Belmont's Keith Hawthorne Ford or some other entity?

Whoever it was from you need to read its terms. In all likelihood there's not a statement on the warranty stating the vehicle was sold with a guarantee to be within Hyundai's specs.

You would have to be able to proof the warranty did state such to have any case against the dealership at all.

Take them to court and sue. You might win, you might not. But you have nothing to lose. Just be sure to have your evidence and act together (proof that the tire size caused your inspection failure).

You bought a USED car. The DEALER is NOT responsible just because some previous owner installed the wrong sized wheels or tires. YOU should have had it inspected by a knowledgeable mechanic BEFORE you bought it. It's YOUR car and YOUR problem!
