Crown Victoria Police Interceptor good first car?
I'm 15 right now, currently in drivers ed. I turn 16 in December and I've always wanted a Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor since I was a little kid. I'm wondering if they are good first cars, and any tips for buying them on craigslist. I know the gas mileage but how would insurance be, what's the lowest insurance I could get?
Get one that was a police chief's car or detective. They don't have all the abuse. Most police cars are usually beat to hell. Choose white most cops drive white crown vics. Get a civilian one and put a police interceptor badge on it, they cost around 10 dollars on e-bay, and a spot light, and some mods. Insurance is going to be in the low 1000's per year. I have a 05 TC same car.
Many old police cars gave been driven hard or just driven very slow. Many times they are on their last legs. They usually sell fairly cheap because most have the goodies all used up. Insurance is something you will have to price where you live because rates vary from town to town and state to state.
- Whorling/ Swirling noise coming from 2008 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor I have a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. It is an EX State Trooper Car. When I drive it, the car makes a whorling/swirling kind of noise, it isn't loud like a wheel baring but you sure can notice the sound. Also it seems like when the two front tires fully rotate, they act like they (or one of them) are going into a small hole.

- What's with kelly bluebook an NADA prices looking at a 88 crown victoria ford with 107k miles in good shape? The sellers asking 2800 which is 100 dollars over good shape in the NADA Prices. Fair is 1k good is like 1800 an mint is 2800. The seller said he wants 2500 would take 2250 i'm offering 1800 tops for it. Is this a good car to get. Its got a 5.0 v8 looks clean runs good.
