Could I use this spray paint on my old canoe?

I've sanded down the kayak and washed it down with alcohol. If the paint is good enough for a car surely it'll do for the top of my kayak right? Any advice

You do not say what it is made of?
If wood I would use something like Marine Varnish, 1st coat 25 % Varnish 75 % Thinners, 2nd coat 50/50, 3rd coat 75 % Varnish 25 % thinners then give it a light sanding with either Wire-Wool or fine Wet & Dry then a final coat of Varnish. Or if you want colour use a Marine Paint the same way
If it is Fiber Glass then you could use etch Primer then Gel Coat

  • Could I use spray paint to paint my car a different color? I currently have a red 2015 ford Mustang, but I want to paint it black and add a few designs to it. Could i pull this off with regular spray paint or is there a certain kind i must use?
  • If I have a 2008 Mercury Mariner and have the key below could I use the standard key and remote? What I mean by standard remote and key is like the ones Ford, Mecury, and Lincoln came out with at first with just a remote and key. Also how would an extra key cost like the one in the picture above? Would it be cheaper to do the the standard key and remote?

  • Used canoe rack 2004 ford explorer? I have a 2004 Ford Explorer with a factory roof rack. What accessory can I look for (used) to carry a canoe? The rack itself is just a couple inches too narrow for my canoe and I want to transport it upside-down so it doesn't catch rain. I don't want to install an entire rack system from Yakima or Thule. What do I need?
