Car questions for first car?
I've been looking at this volvo for my first car and my dad talked to his mechanic about it and it is a 2006 volvo xc70 and for some reason my dad said it was 2003 volvo but the mechanic said that when ford bought volvo they made their cars cheaper with worse parts so it would not be a good idea to get it and that the transmission gets messed up from the cheaper parts and it's a very expensive fix. I did some of my own research and found that volvo was bought by ford in 1999 and the car i'm looking at was made 7 years later. My question is if you think what the mechanic said was correct and if by the time the car i'm looking at was made, did volvo make the parts more high quality?
Your mechanic is an idiot. Ford sold Volvo to an Indian company some years ago.
- Updating 2013 Ford Fusion SE questions? I love my fusion but it doesn't have all the fancy stereo systems the new ones have. I want the touchscreen and backup camera, etc. However, I don't wanna buy a new car! And I don't want to buy any kind of stereo for my car, I actually wanna keep everything FORD… So I found a 2016 Ford Fusion (totaled, t-boned) and I was wondering cousin take the stereo system and backup camera off of it and put it in my car? Or is there anyplace by Ford I can update it?

Looking to get some questions answered I have a 2014 Ford escape with ecoboost recently I went off roading and come to find out my turbocharge isn't working very well when I step into it I have power still just hearing the turbo kicking in and out does anyone know what that could be if someone could help me that would be greatly appreciated thanks
