Can i cut off my cats for a 1996 ford crown victoria? - 1
Of course you can but whether or not you'll pass emissions and get your car legally registered is doubtful.
Federal law says no. No one can modify the emissions control system (unless they are using it strictly for off-road racing).
What is your plan for O2 sensors?
Hi cut off the cat get a fine and less MPG lower top speed and poor acceleration as it is part of the exhaust system.
NO it will not do a thing for performance
- Why would you think my 2008 Ford H 53 chassis Motor home engine randomly cut off and the ABS light come on? Ford Triton V10 when heading up a hill sometimes the engine will cut out and the ABS light on the dash comes on and goes out. The engine continues to run and we get home just fine. Seems like power is getting cut off or something.
- Location of 1998 Ford Taurus fuel pump. Does it have a fuel cut-off switch? Car shut down suddenyl without warning. New battery and cranks but will not start. Suspect bad fuel filter, 130K miles and fuel filter has never been replaced.
- Off road tires on a Crown Victoria? I have a 2011 Crown Victoria P71. I've always wanted to put some off road tires on my car but didn't want to buy the wrong tires and rims for my car. I was looking at buying some 17" rims for Ford (from what I've seen those are the right size rims) and I wanted to get some off road tires on it. The main questions I have are would off road tires actually fit on my Crown Vic p71 and are there any meaty/Off road tires that would just fit on my regular rims?
- I have a ford explorer sport trac 2003. Todat when I was driving the radio cut of and then cut back on? Then the radio won't come back on at all. I got to the light and the car slowed down I was able to coast it to a save place and park it. Then when I tried to start it up it didn't this click click click sound. What could this be. The battery is about five years old. Is it the battery or the starter?
