Windshield Wiper Problems?
I have a 1990 Ford Bronco XLT. The windshield wipers recently started having issues. The first 5 to 15 runs the wipers work great. After that, the wipers get jerky and freeze in random places. If I keep the wiper speed on the lowest setting, none of the issues occur. The motors are only a few years old.
How old is the rubber on the blades? Old rubber gets very hard and sticky. The motors are probably drawing more current than the old ones and stalling out.Many have a thermal cutoff when they overheat. The lowest speed uses the least amount of electricity.
- What are the thread and pitch measurements of the windshield wiper arm nut of a Ford Taurus 2002? The nut that came with the car out of the factory. The one I have now stripped and needs replaced. Went to O reillys for help and they told me to get the Thread and Pitch measurements and I don't have the tool for that.
- Shifting problems and intake problems? I drive a 1997 ford ranger with a 2.3l automatic. I have recently experienced a hard shifting in my truck even when I'm not on the gas it has problems shifting. And I cleaned my air filter and filter hose that goes to my throttle body and there was transmission fluid in the hose. What can be causing this and how can I fix it or how much will it cost roughly?
