I know how to work on cars just not on old ones. I don't know anything really about old trucks and cars. But I bought a 78/79 bronco with a 351m from what everyone tells me the motor is junk. What is the best motor to put into it with ease? I plan on camming it, straighpipes, headers, efi conversion, and rebuilding the whole motor. I may possibly supercharge it.
How can I get the most power out of a 78 bronco. It has the 351m motor with 3 inch straight pipes and fuel injection conversion Would it be worth putting a supercharger on it? I heard you can put the 460 crank and pistons in it to make the 351m a 460 but I don't want to rebuild the motor again. What are your Guy's thoughts on it?
So I need a new fuel pump for my 1994 bronco. Any advice on where to get one from and which one to get? (I've been searching on rock auto, and there are so many different kinds I couldn't begin to know which one to use)
Would it be weird if someone purchased a ford bronco but never went off roading?
Okay I need recommendations for a 347 stroker build from a 302. I'm shooting for around 400 HP. Everything from top to bottom. I'd like to keep my fuel injection.
What Intake, heads, stroker kit it's self (Scat 1-45305BE Ford 302 4340 Forged Competition Rotating Assembly 347ci is the one I'm looking to get) cams, and headers can make that kind of power.
also would like to know if I would need to swap the computer and if so what should I use.
Transmission will have to switch but it'll be a different day.

Every so often, I ll ease onto the gas from being stopped at a red light, I ll get up to about 25mph then it ll stop accelerating. Putting the petal to the floor gives it some gas after 3-5 seconds. Another issue is that sometimes, once or twice a day the engine will die while I'm driving. I can usually feel the steering lock up before I lose power so I have time to get to a safe place to restart it but it's really annoying having to always look for a safe spot to potentially pull off to. I recently changed the fuel filter & it didn't affect any of the problems. Any help is appreciated
I'm having problems with my 1994 Ford Bronco 5.8. The 4x4 went out and the light it stuck on 4x4 but it is not in 4x4. First the 4x4 high went out, but the 4x4 low worked. Then a few months later the low went out as well. The light, as I said, is now stuck on, but there's no clicking or movement anywhere when you press the buttons. Any help?!

there's a spot in the middle that looks like an allen wrench but it is not so i tried a torx and that was not it. Is there a special tool for this.
i'm doing the water pump and need to get to 2 bolts behind it to remove the power steering bracket… I'm confused here cuz i did one on a ford bronco and it was so easy.

When lever is switched, the dash does not signal flashing, but the taillight that I'm flashing for will go out but not blink. What could be the problem?
