89 Ford Bronco ii won't start?

The car just died on me half way into a two hour drive home, towed it the rest of the way and tried to start it again, it would barley turn over. The more i tried it the less it would crank, now when I try to start it there's just absolute silence. I put in a new battery, tested alternator and it was good, new terminals, new voltage regulator, and new fuel filter. When I charge the battery overnight it will start up but only for a few minutes.

1989 Ford Bronco Random Plug?

Ok again I have had this bronco for 2 yrs and the plug in the following pictures has never been hooked up, so i decided to hook it up. I have not noticed any difference in the way it runs or anything so I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what it is or what it goes to and what it does etc.

Do Ford cars ever break down?

My dad has a 1981 Ford Bronco with a 550k miles on its clock and still running like new. It never failed us even once even though my dad abuse it…

1987 Ford Bronco or 1993 Dodge Dakota?

Looking to buy my second car and I want it to be one of these two. I'm 17 in highschool and have been driving almost two years and I have $2500. I want to be able to take it into the mountains to go snowboarding and do other things with it along with seat at least 4 people, but no real off-roading or anything. The bronco I've been looking at has 80k miles and a manual transmission which is a must have for me and the Dakota has 160k and a manual. Both have clean titles, no rust, and no body or mechanical work done. Which one tends to be more reliable? I also have no problem doing work on either on my own.

Body lift, Good idea or Bad idea?

I have a 1996 ford bronco, i also am thinking about buying a 3inch body lift. A 3inch body lift runs around $150 while a 3inch suspension lifts runs around $550. So any bad stories about body lifts?

LEDS in a 1994 Ford Bronco?

I put some LED turn signals in place of my old halogen in my 1994 Ford Bronco. Expecting hyperflash, I bought resistors. Instead, the turn signals don't work at all. What's the problem. (Also, which wires would I wire the resistor to if need be?)

1990 Ford Bronco Oil/vacuum leaks?

Just got myself a 1990 Eddie Bauer Ford Bronco, 302, converted to a 5 speed. Has pretty nasty oil leak. Pretty sure it's coming from the rear of the valve covers (bad gasket). Wouldn't be surprised if it needs an intake gasket too. Gotta clean it up and check it out tomorrow. I was wondering what all common places for oil leaks, vacuum leaks, mechanical issues, and whatever else helpful information I should know about before diving into it. Oh and another thing, when put in neutral to idle, it wants to idle at a steady 1400/1500 rpms. Hitting the gas really quick (how high you rev doesn't seem to matter, just how quick you do it and let off) fixes it. Also when I push the clutch in to shift, the engine revs up until I'm almost all the way off the clutch? Should I expect this to be a vacuum leak? Or perhaps even the intake gasket? Gonna clean the throttle body and check the IAC also.

I need tips for buying a good Ford Bronco?

I've always wanted a Ford Bronco, I don't care what the year is but I need tips on buying a good vehicle. I'm 17, I own a 2005 Dodge Stratus and that was the biggest mistake of my life. It broke 3 weeks after I bought it and has been a money pit since. I don't want a repeat. I'm very interested in learning about cars and how to fix them.

Loud clicking noise when i try and start my car?

1990 Ford Bronco 2 manuel. I've been working on my bronco for awhile now ( it's got fuel issues either no pulse or fuel injectors are messed up) anyways. It tries to start fine just won't turn over. I got a noid light kit yesterday to check for pulse. I got my wife to turn the key like trying to start it, sounded like the battery was dying because it only tried to crank for a few seconds then nothing. I tried to jump it from my other car but it just started making a really loud tapping or clicking noise from around the area of the battery and fuse box. I disconnected the battery and just hooked my jumper cables straight from my good car to the bronco, same thing. All the lights and radio come on with no problem but whenever I turn the key it just makes a really loud tapping/ clicking noise non stop. I'm assuming if it was arching it would pop a fuse and not click more than a few times. I tried tapping my started but that didn't do anything. Any suggestions? It's been working totally fine before this.
