Loss of power at high speed?
High, I have a 94 ford bronco 351w (5.8) and I lose power at high speeds! 3rd and overdrive is when it happens. My rpms drop to about 1000 and I can't speed up as fast as I used to!
Do a tune up, spark plugs, wires, add a bottle of seafoam or lucas injector cleaner in there and replace your fuel filter (sounds like its clogged) while youre at it. Total cost should be around $50.
- Can I make my five speed to a six speed? I have a 91 Ford Ranger 3.0L V6 five speed. I know it's not an idea vehicle to fix but I enjoy the vehicle much. I would to fix it up, I know to give it a better performance that I have to make a lot of things custom. One thing I'd like to do is change it to a six speed, would it be wise to do so and is it possible? I'm hoping for a little bit gas mileage doing this and maybe faster acceleration?
- My Ford Freestyle has lost speed/power it only goes 10 mph? When I turn on the car I can hear the hissing sound coming from under the car, can't locate where the sound is coming from. Need help?! No check engine light, or the wrench symbol

- Pennzoil High Mileage vs Castrol GTX High Mileage? My local auto store has 5 quarts of Pennzoil High Mileage for 16.99, but 5 quarts of Castrol GTX High Mileage on sale for 9.99$. Which one is better, or does it not even matter and I should just get the cheaper one? It's going in a 2002 Ford Focus ZTS with 155*** miles on it.
