Base model 1989 ford thunderbird 0-60 times?
I get about 10.5 seconds from 0-60, but that's without a burnout, and without using any gas while applying the breaks… How much could doing these increase my time? It's an automatic Tranny with no supercharger.
Confusing point query onto a search engine it could actually help
9-10 seconds was about what that car could do the 0-60 run when new. A burnout isn't going help, because the car doesn't have enough grunt to spin the wheels from a standstill on dry pavement. You can try brake torqueing it before you launch, that might help
The only this is going to increase is the wear of the Overdrive band in your AOD by doing the 1-2-1 or "AOD shuffle"… You'd do this trans a world of good to "epoxy mod" it and correct the shift pattern.
- 99 Ford ranger XLT base model. Park lights, dash lights, and license plates lights out I checked online and realized it was probably a fuse which it is. Fuse 11 in my power distribution box. The problem is I keep replacing at and soon as I turn on my lights it blows instantly. Have replaced it multiple times. So then I looked under my truck and disconnected the wiring to my taillights and replaced the fuse, it worked it didn't blow. Dash lights and license plates lights were on so I figured some where there's a problem with the brake lights. Any suggestions?
- What does it mean when it says 2004 Ford mustang base for sale? So I was looking at this article because I want a 4th generation mustang and the title says 04 Ford mustang base for sale? And i feel kinda dumb asking this because i'm a guy but what does it mean when it says base?
- Should I trade my 2014 Nissan Maxima base for a 2011 Ford Mustang Base sports package? It would be a even trade. The Mustang has the Mustang sports package with includes pipes, and a upgraded engine. Any suggestions. I would be trading a 2014 for something that is older, but better. My maxima has a sunroof, and power seats, and the Mustang doesn't.
- How many sensors are there on a 2000 Ford Mustang base? I'm confused. I have a check engine light. I changed bank 2 sensor 1. I believe this is the drive's side, right? And sensor 1 = upstream bank 2 = driver's side & sensor 2 = down stream bank 1 = passenger side, yes? So there's just 1 02 sensor for each side, or is there 4? For example there's both an upstream and down stream 02 sensor on the driver's side, and an upstream and down stream 02 sensor on the passenger's side. I'm confused.
