Automatic car staring in any gear?
I Recently had to drop the transmission in my 62 ford falcon. Car has a c4 in it. My last starter failed which threw pieces into my bellhousing. After I put the trans back in how I usually start it, in neutral wouldn't work and started in any gear. Thought it was my neutral safety as I don't see the normal neutral safety in the right place. 
The safety switch is out of alignment, check the location.
You hooked the neutral safety switch up to the back up lights and the backup lights to the neutral safety switch.

A friend of mine told me that older Ford Mustangs have alot of problems and the car isn't worth it. Is this true? I've searched for hours and haven't found any information validating my friend s claim. Maybe someone who has owned the car or has worked on it has a better opinion for me. Any input would be helpful.
- Why my cars gear stick popping out from 1st to 3rd gear, from 2nd to 4th? The car is Ford Focus 2002 1.8tdci. Poppong out from 1st gear to 3rd and from 2nd to 4th. Reverse works fine, I'm able to start to drive car from 3rd gear with balancing clutch and acceleration. No strange noises thou.
