They are all about the same underneath all the modern sensors and electronics. Thats where the problem lies for most people.
All modern engines are fairly complex and computerised. Not impossible to work on, but you will want at least a Haynes manual to do any serious work on them.
Older engines are basically simpler things, and easier to work on. Rebuilding an old 70s vintage engine is relatively straight forward. Doesn't matter if it's a Ford, Toyota, GM, they all work the same way. A 2010 engine is a lot more technical.
- Will a 200GB Hard Drive (NTFS) Work In A Ford S-Max? I have a Toshiba 200GB Hard Drive (formated to NTFS) and I was wondering can I use it in a Ford S-Max? Forgot to add I'm using it for music.
- What engines would work in a scion frs? I d like to make a nice fast street car for myself instead of just buying a pricey car off the bat. i really like the look of the scion but iv e often heard it lacks a bit in the power department so i d like to overpower it. i was thinking maybe a ford or chevrolet v6, or even a dodge v8. However it is a boxer engine i d be trying to fit it to. any ideas besides just super/turbocharging it?
- Isn't it hard to force the EU to buy our cars? Ford announced they'll stop making regular cars, and they don't want our gas guzzling SUVs? Or huge trucks. That's what part of this trade war is about fyi, our products that they don't even want. Interesting, but 10% vs 2.5% isn't exactly earth shattering on cars. Plus that article's talking about OBAMA'S proposed free trade not Trumps.
