A simple programmer for an 2001 Honda Accord?
I'm just wondering. I'm not a ricer, I just want to get a little more power out of a vehicle I may be getting. I know there are tuners you can plug in to the OBD2 port, and it reflashes the ECU. My dad has one for his 6.0L diesel Ford, and another guy I know has one for his mid 2000's Dodge Ram gasser. I looked around and can't find anything like this for an Accord. Do they not make them? Just a curiosity thing.
Added (1). Something I want to add. I'm mechanically inclined quite a bit. Is there any simple mods for these vehicles? It's the 2.3 Vtec engine. I was looking at camshafts mostly. Any other ideas?
Hi so the issue has more to do with a worn out old engine than anything else so it is not a case of tuning it but replacement parts and a rebore.
- Ford Mustang GT vs Honda Accord? Ok, so this upcoming year I will be a senior. I plan on asking my parents to buy me a Ford Mustang GT (31k) or maybe just a V6 (22k) for senior year. I already have a car, which is a 2012 Honda Accord. It has has about 22k miles on it. I just wanna know if ford will last me throughout my college years and maybe when I have my own job, or should I just stick with my Honda accord. (I hear Hondas last long).
- First Car: Ford Mustang or Honda Accord? I'm turning 16 soon and debating on getting either a 1999 Ford Mustang V6 or a 1997 Honda Accord as my first car. Please choose one and explain why.
- 2016 Honda Accord Coupe vs 2015 Ford Mustang V6? Which one would be better for a first car? I'm Under 25 so insurance may be a problem for the mustang, I plan to keep the car until I graduate college or a year before that. I also care about looks more than speed. Also I want to know which one is cheaper to maintain since I live in the USA.
- Should I get Honda Accord or Ford Fusion? I can't decide between this 2 new cars, both are nice but I heard Ford Fusion has lots of options, safety and durable than Honda Accord, is this true?
