I make 825 biweekly how much rent can I afford?
About 595
You can't.
[(825 x 2)/100] x 0.3 = 550
Without knowing how much you pay for all your other bills, there's no way anyone could give you a good answer to that question. Write down all of your monthly expenses and deduct the total from your monthly income… That is the most you could afford to spend on rent.
For all we know, you could have a $1,600 monthly payment on some fancy car… Which means you only have $50 left to cover rent (among other things).
Gross, or net? What debt do you have?
You make 1650 a month so divide that by 3 and you can qualify for $550. Most professionally managed rentals require you to make 3x the rent amount or they won't accept you. You'll have to include proof of income with the application to verify how you make on a monthly basis.
You average $1787 a month ($825x26 paydays a year=$21450 divided by 12 months=$1787). At that rate, you shouldn't be paying more than $595 a month (one-third of your monthly income).
But to be practical, you shouldn't pay more than $550 ($825x2=$1650) because MOST months you will earn $1650.
Most landlords require that your income be at least 3x your monthly rent; where I live they require that it be 4x the monthly rent.
Looks like a roommate or two should be part of your future.
Here 400$ monthly
3 - 4 times the monthly rent is usually what a landlord requires in income.
Not a chance unless you can find something under $400
- Can I afford a 2010 used Ford mustang? I'm 19 full time job, I'm saving for a down payment of 4000 and I've always wanted a Ford mustang, can I afford it I've heard insurance maybe pretty high etc any advice.
- Do you think I can afford this car? I'm thinking about buying a 2011 Ford Focus that has low miles for $7,500. I work about 35 hours per week for $10/hour, but I'm about to have two jobs soon. I really need a car to get back and forth. I have a 700 credit score and $1,000 to put down on it. The only problem is that I only worked 20 weeks this week and 15 last week because I needed to take time off for my dying grandfather. If they see those pay stubs, they might reject me.
- Where can I rent a Ford flex? I'm interested in trying it out to test it to see if it's better or more practical than a minivan. Do rental companies do hourly or half day rentals? A test drive at a dealership won't be enough to test it out.
- How can some people afford such expensive cars? There's a family that live a couple houses down and they have a brand new ford explorer and chevy tahoe. I mean these things cost over $35k. Are they rich or just showing off?
