2005 Ford Freestar Sliding Door?
I have a 2005 ford free star and tonight the passenger sliding door didn't open when the overhead button was pressed each time. I would press the button overhead and hear some clicking sounds (like it unlocking but the door would be unlocked) but the door would remain shut. After a few minutes I would try the button again and the door would open then close but not open again. Anyone know would this could be? I tried going to the auto parts store inquiring about a fuse but they were unaware of where and what to check.
You need the factory scan tool to monitor all the safety switches and the motor to see if there's a problem. If you could get your hands on a wiring diagram and knew how to pin test you might be able to repair it yourself.
- My Ford Ranger keeps sliding (its been raining lately), do I just add on more weight in the bed? I went to turn left and ended up drifting 180 to the left and then 90 to the right bc I turned the opposite direction but then I safely proceeded straight, then I was getting back from a concert, and I was stopped at a stop light.so when it turned green I went to go and I was kinda stuck In place and my tire was just spinning but I believe I was in a little hole at that moment.
- Had my ford transit broken into, door peeled in half, what would people recommend, van alarm or deadlocks and door strengthening? My van door was peeled in Half from top to bottom and cleared of everything inside. I'm thinking of getting an alarm that will go off if van is shaken or movement inside but I think this might be too late and the door damage done. Would I be better off getting visual locks for thief's to see then have my door reinforced inside out by my friend who's a welder.
- 2005 VW Golf 1.6 or 2005 Ford Fiesta Zetec S 1.6 2005? First car for a 17 year old who has just passed his licence. Both cost similar amounts for purchase and for insurance.
- 2001 Ford Explorer keypad on door will not unlock/lock the front door. It will unlock/lock the other doors Would there be a loose wire? Could it be a fuse? If so anyone know which one? Or could it be something else? I'm trying to fix my aunts car so they don't have to take it somewhere.
