2001 ford f- 350 with the 7.3 diesel Leaks antifreeze coolant?
I just put in a brand new ford oem radiator
There's an aftermarket coolant reservoir
It still leaks from the top by the radiator / reservoir
Any one know what this could be?
This is a closed system. A small tube under the radiator cap has a hose attached to it that goes to the reservoir. When the coolant expands (gets hot) it flows thru this tube into the expansion reservoir. Either the tube in the neck of the radiator is leaking or the hose is. If it's the radiator you should have a warrantee. Otherwise just replace the hose. Your post is unclear but the leak could be at the expansion tank which is plastic, inexpensive and should be replaced.
There's a metal tube behind the second alternator on my 2001 f350 that is dripping anti freeze. What is this tube attatched to that could leak
- 2002 ford taurus coolant bubbling out of coolant tank cap? Coolant is bubbling out of the tank cap on my taurus. The coolant is a bit over the fill to line. The coolant is the normal green color. I don't think it having a bit of extra coolant in the tank is doing this. The cap itself maybe? I just bought this car and it didn't do this until today.
- I have a 95 ford mustang that is leaking oil and coolant both appear to be separate leaks? The engine is a 3.8L v6. The car is difficult to start, usually on the 5th try it starts. After long periods of driving it stalls out and has to sit for a couple hours. It has a new TPS and a new idle air control valve and just had the oil changed
- Which year F-350 is best and why? Which is the worst F-350 and why? I'm gonna buy a F-350 In a year or so and I wanna know which one is best. I'm gonna buy a fifth wheel and I need a powerful truck. I have decided on the Ford F 3-50 but I don't know which one is the most reliable. I'm thinking of getting a super duty truck.
- 2000 E-150 Econoline Ford van Antifreeze/coolant leak maybe. I don't know? Green liquid (antifreeze) possibly is leaking from a metal tube coming down near the drivers side REAR tire. We recently drove like 1600 miles to Denver, CO then back to Springfield, MO but the van never acted like the engine was running bad or anything. It just started doing this today. It's not leaking very much but it's still there.
