QUIT ruining this wonderful car! This engine is the BEST of domestic small V6 engines! It is BULLET PROOF and should get you 30 MPGS all day long if tuned correctly! DO NOT hot wire ignition You will cause MORE and MORE damages instead! You MIGHT have a bad FUEL CUT-OFF really, but at LEAST get a check up before you DESTROY this grea car! Take $20-40 to ANY oil change center and have your IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE remvoed and cleaned up to SHOWROOM CLEAN! Have them clean your THROTTLE BODY as well! Use ONLY mobil one 0W-30 oil and NO MORE VALVOLINE wax baseed SLUDGE MAKING OIL! Expect 300k miles from this car by doing as I write here! Use BOSCH or DENSO iridium plgus fro MORE pwoer and economy! Once you get over your HURDLE expect LOTS of happy driving! Teh TARUS is lossely based on BMW and AUDi technology and is a GREAT CAR! Much better than GM offereings of any year in TESTING and in REALITY! GOOD LUCK! Please get this car reapired by somone QUALIFIED to repair it! - 2003 Ford Ranger Won't Start after Fuel Pump install? About 2 weeks ago, I replaced the fuel filter and all 6 spark plugs to do some regular maintenance and upkeep. 3 days ago, hard to start. Had to turn key a couple times to prime- then would fire right up. Replaced fuel pump yesterday, now I have no start at all. It just cranks, and barely starts to turn over, only to bog out. When it starts to bog out, i tap the gas to try and get my RPMS up, but I have no throttle response at all.
- On my 2000 ford mustang why does my air pump (smog pump) only blow air for 5 seconds after start up? Is that normal? I have p0411 secondary air injection system insufficient flow detected. I've checked the hose that comes out from the pump, it's blowing air but I believe it should blow air for much longer than 5 seconds on start up.
- Someone tried to hotwire my 1998 Ford Expedition? Someone broke into and tried to hot wire my 1998 expedition. It doesn't look like they tried anything with the wiring harnesses or the ignition itself. But they cut three wires, a large red ground, and two smaller wires an orange and a red one that feed through directly above the red ground. I haven't got a clue where either of these two lead to. Any ideas?
