12lb injectors at about 50psi or 19lb at 30psi (mpg, preformance)?
I have a 1993 ford 4.9 300ci. Would (data in title) be better for gas milage, preformance, and reliability?
I'm thinking larger injectors because the engine doesn't have to waste energy forcing the gas through. I'm thinking- engine with clogged injectors has a lower mpg than clean injectors.
You're all over the map here but I can tell you one thing for sure, the engine doesn't have anything to do with forcing gas through the injectors, and if you're debating the benefit or disadvantage of fuel pressure in terms of fuel injection, higher pressure is better if your pump and ecm can support it. Higher pressure atomizes the fuel into finer droplets for better power and economy but most ecm's have current limiting in their injector drivers and excessive pressure can trigger it.
- What's the city mpg of the Excursion? I'm wondering what the acutual city mpg of the 2003 Ford Excursion is. Don't give me any of the EPA stuff because, it's not on there. I want a gas compared to a diesel. I want to buy one as my first car.
- What is the actual city MPG of this truck? I'm curious what the city MPG is on the 2000 Ford Excursion Limited diesel 4WD. What's the actual MPG of this vehicle? City only.
- What is the voltage for fuel injectors? How much voltage does a fuel injector on a 04 ford Mustang v6 3.8 or 3.9 L use? I need it, so I can I apply the correct V when cleaning them.
- MAF sensor or fuel injectors? My 1994 ford tempo lx v6 with 70k miles misfires on cold starts. I have changed spark plugs, wites, dist cap, rotors, and used fuel injector cleaner. Does the MAF needs cleaning or replace the fuel injectors?
