Where to start looking for a 1972 ford torino car was sold in 1977 or 1978?
The car was sold from my fathers estate when he died in 1977 model 1972
See if the DMV will supply a title history for a fee. They do in some (most ) states in the US.
Unless you have the VIN you have virtually no chance of finding it.
Also understand that I'm sure well over 90% of the Torino's built for the 1972 model year are long gone - the odds your dads old car is still in one piece are not good. If you have the VIN you can see if your DMV will give you a title history.
Try finding Torino owners assn's. Chances are not good but good luck anyway. The law is the biggest of asses when it comes to inheritances and estates.

My question is which of the two cars is a faster and louder car cause I would like to show it off and have heads turn by its engine as I drive off on the street.
