What is the fastest diesel ford truck (yes I know most of the engines are made by powersroke)?

F250 FX4X4 7.3L Turbo

Nobody that owns one will sell it. They rip the engines out of these trucks at junkyards and sell them $10,000 easy. Guys that want super reliable power for Marine applications desire them as well.

With 4X4 and a programmable chip, they can make 500-600hp / 800lbs torque running 10's in the quarter mile without any other modifications. Flip a couple switches and drive it home getting 20 mpg. Don't tell anyone, I'm trying to buy one… Haha

  • What Ford mustang from the 90s - 2005 is the fastest and cheap to buy? I'm just checking prices to fix a 67 mustang but I need to sit a different engine but I want to buy a fast cheap mustang to take it apart and put the engine and transmission on my 67 mustang. Now I'm not really good at cars and don't know much of Ford cars, I'm more a Chevy person like I know little bit of Chevy engines.
  • I think i found the problem, only time will tell, yes? 1982 ford mercury brougham? My car would start ok when cold, but when hot, it would not start. After a cooling period, it would start. I could cross the starter soliniod and it would crank, but not start. Research suggests that the coil is the problem, with all my symptoms such as… Gutless.using lots of fuel, and not starting when hot, but starting cold. Does this make sense? Also it would jerk when going up a hill
  • I have a 2001 ford escape and when I press the brakes nothing happens, Yes there's brake fluid in it? I was coming from town when I was trying to make a stop and I has to push all the way to the floor. I do have fluid in it and brakes does not pump up
  • Diesel engines and mileage? I'm due to pass my driving test in the next 3-4 weeks and because of the car I've been learning in I'd really like a diesel as opposed to a petrol engine, I've seen a few cars 55 plate Ford Mondeo, 55 plate Renault Laguna and a 04 Mazda 6… They have mileages ranging from 100,000 miles to 124,000 miles and all have a 2.0 turbo diesel engine… Do these mileages seem normal for a car this age? And what are the signs to look out for?
