What are the best ford big blocks?
They really only have the 460. The others have been out of production for years The 351/400 's are not big blocks and the next larger engine is diesel So the 460 is all you got and its not that worth while to even build it up. The fact they never made 4 bolt mains for the 460 is one issue not to mention many other hurdles associated with the 460
- What's the deal with Ford, why do they seem to be hated the most out of the big 3? I do have a preference in what I drive. But that doesn't mean I won't drive something else. It seems Ford is always on the bad end of memes, jokes, criticism, etc. Is there a particular reason or reasons why that is? Please no fan-boys either. I'd like to hear from more unbiased people.
- Oil change on my ford focus! Big proublem? So i was changing the oil on my 2007 for focus today. Took oil out everything good. Took off old filter everything good. BUT! When i was putting the bolt back on the motor to add the new oil, i over tightened the bolt so it just kept spining! Turns out some of the tread from inside the motor came out in the bolt when i took it out. Now it does not tighten good. It does a little but not all the way. What can i do now?

- Do ford use the same engine blocks for different size engines? I know some car manufacturers use the same engine blocks for a 1L all the way up to 2L but obviously with different size bore holes for the pistons. Does anybody know if ford use the same engine blocks on there new fiesta, MK7 59 plates, from 1l up to a certain size. I look at my block which is a 1.4 and it looks rather big for a 1.4 engine. reason i ask is i'm thinking of putting some more power behind my car, and just want to know how much block i have, and how strong it is.
