Will people make fun of my car this year at school?
Hi. I'm 17 and a senior in high school. I start school in a week and I just got my license today. Anyways, I have to drive this year and my car is a 2004 or 2005 Gold Ford Taurus (for some reason I can't remember which year it is right now). Anyways, my grandparents drive two golden cars and I've only seen older people drive Gold cars. I don't like Golden cars much but this car was bought by my grandpa so I'm not complaining. I know I shouldn't care but what if people make fun of it? It has leather seats and runs pretty nicely, it's just an older looking car and everyone at my school seems to have nice, newer ones. :/
Let them make fun at least you can drive to school don't worry about it
Don't worry about it. At your age, you're lucky to have a car at all.
Man, you kids are so spoiled theses days. Would you rather walk or take a bus? No? Then be happy you're getting a car to drive. Who cares what color it is? As opposed to walking, I'd drive it if it was pink.

People won't care. If they do screw them. Having a vehicle that gets you from point A to point B is such a luxury especially in high school. It seriously doesn't matter what car you have.

Drive the car. Wave at your "friends" when they are at the bus stop.
Why do you care? There will be a lot of kids at your school who don't have cars. It's not a "cool" car, but it's a lot better than what many have.
