Which car to buy, Hyundai Accent or Ford Taurus?
It's a 2004 Hyundai Accent with 83,000 miles.
and a 2001 Ford Taurus with 134,000 miles
Sort of like asking if you prefer to get punched in the throat of kicked in the nads. Neither.
The Accent is really small, I would look for an Elantra.
Between those 2 I would definitely choose Accent. It has excellent warranty, low price, nicely appointed interior, solid build quality, smooth ride. Boasting as much style as any other in its class, the Hyundai Accent is known for offering efficient performance with a reasonable price tag. It's lean, mean, smooth, and fashionable, not to mention nice and comfy on the inside. 
By driving both Hyundai and Ford cars for years I'd look at the Hyundai first. But as with any used car the most important thing would be the condition of the said cars. Condition is everything.
Hyundais aren't reliable vehicles in the slightest. Though the Taurus is both older and has a few more miles on it, it's never a bad idea to go with the "American-made" option [http://thefordexperiment.com/the-importance-of-being-american-made-in-todays-day-and-age/. Admittedly, however, I'm a bit of a "Ford Fanatic," so that's something to keep in mind.
