How many valves does a 2007 Ford Taurus have?

I'm interested in buying one off of craigslist and the owner doesn't know, all they know is its a 3.0 v6 engine. After doing some research the general consensus seems to be that the 3.0l 12v vulcan engine is the way to go in terms of reliability as apposed to the "3.8l 24 valve dohc duratec engine". Upon looking up the 2007 model it seems as though it only comes with a 3.0 v6 but it doesn't specify how many valves it has. I understand I'm probably not using the right terms here so feel free to correct me. I'm not very mechanically inclined. I appreciate any help here in making an informed decision

Are Ford Taurus' good cars?

Specifically a 2007 model? I'm interested in buying one i found on Craigslist. Has somewhat high mileage (160k) and it's in good condition. How much do you think someone should pay for it? What's odd is i did some research on it and it's value but on autotrader it says the 2007 model isn't official, like it doesn't exist. Something about 2006 models "rolling over" to 2007. What does this mean?

How much is this car worth?

I have a perfectly working 2001 Ford Taurus with 90,000 miles on it. How much might it be worth? I'm trying to work up some cash to buy a newer car.

Tell my why the car broke down? 1992 ford taurus 225k miles. How to fix?

We decided to go on a road trip going north from estherville IA to as far north as we could go in Canada, maybe to hudson bay.

The car engine was running rough and putting out lots of blue smoke, and eventually it was running really rough. We eventually had to stop in Le Seur Minnesota and had to do something to fix the old 1992 ford taurus.

We heard about the "motor honey trick" and how it would stop the oil burning. We got a big jug of honey and poured it into the oil, coolant, power steering, transmission, wiper, battery, and brake fluid tanks till all the fluids were brimming full.

The car continued to function much worse, and eventually had to be jump started just to restart the car. The blue smoke got much worse and the engine ran still MUCH ROUGHER. The transmission then got stuck in low gear and the car wouldn't go over 35 mph without redlining the engine. We eventually noticed the car overheating and the engine making TERRIBLE NOISES and then the engine just gave out with a bang at 28th and 82nd near the Mall of America in Minneappolis.

I tried to restart the engine, but the key just goes click and nothing happens.

Added (1). The car is sitting in an intersection and on a passenger and freight railway crossing and the rail line has been called, and police have been called. Three of us sisters are unable to get the car into neutral so it can be pushed because the car has no power so no headlights or blinkers and the shifter is locked. I'm standing on the train track blowing a whistle trying to alert the engineer so they will know to stop. My sister is trying to stop the traffic to protect the car

Added (2). How do we protect the car from being totaled by a bus, truck or train. We won't get anywhere further north for our weeklong road trip if that car won't start again. How will we even get back to estherville? What is one to do in this situation?

Added (3). The cities we planned to see were Mankato, Minneapolis/St Paul, Duluth Hibbing, Grand Rapids. Bemidji, Fargo, Grand Forks, Winnipeg. Thompson, Churchill, Arviat, Rankin Inlet, Chesterfield Inlet and finally as far north as we could go. Could the car be fixed to continue the adventure we had planned?

Can a police officer buy a brand new unmarked police car with out his department's

Do Dodge and Ford sell their unmarked police cars to individual police officers if the officers directly contact Dodge or Ford?

Or do they only sell their unmarked police cars directly to police departments?

Added (1). Happy Gramps

You are wrong. Dodge and Ford have their factory equipped Charger and Ford Interceptor (Taurus) models with police packages
