Hoe much can I get for my 2000 Ford Taurus?
I have a Ford Taurus I'm thinking about posting it for $1,500 I will go as low as $1,000 but hoping for $1,200
Here is some info
180,000mi
Mechanic looked it over only found small hole in muffler, so it makes a small noise when on the gas, and also needs front end alignment
Fairly new starter, breaks and break line
Needs all new tires as the thread is really worn.
Gas gauge doesn't work so I record miles manually
Body is a bit rough, before I owned it someone keyed it all down one side. It's not super deep but deffinitly noticeable when you're close the break light also has a quater sized hole in it
The bumper is scrapped up but no dents there's a bad dent about the size of a dinner plate in the hood.
The car runs really well I drive it every day and it never gives me issues. I just got a really good job and it's a bit of a travel so I want to finance a nice new car.
Do you think my asking price is fair? I bought it for $2,750 (made payments not outright) about a year and a half ago.
Sounds like it's worth $200-$300, tops. No one would want a car in that condition.
I think whatever cash is offered, you take it. Your not losing a penny even if you scrap it.
Tranmissions tend to go bad in them.
$1000-1250 is a reasonable asking price for a decent running car.
Doesn't mean you will sell it. Lots of reasonably priced cars can take months to sell.
- I have a 2000 ford Taurus station and can't put it into gear.why can't I put it into gear? I have a 2000 ford Taurus station and can't put it into gear. Why can't I put it into gear?
- Can i unplug my mass air flow sensor to get my cold air intake to work better on my 2015 ford taurus? When i put the cold air intake on my car it went really slow so if I unplug the sensor would it fix that problem
- Can i get out of a ford lease early? Or get a new car early? After my 2004 GTO broke down, i was forced to lease a 2014 Focus, for 3 years and had to get extended miles. Its been about 5 months since i've had the car and so far i hate it. Slow, cheaply made, stereo is terrible, no traction in winter, i don't like it at all. Is there any chance of getting out of the lease early or turning it in without hurting my credit, or even turning it in to lease a different car. Possibly a truck or taurus. Has anyone else been in this situation?
- Can I get a lease on a ford taurus? I was wondering if I could lease a taurus or fusion or something. I want something around the 2000-5000 dollar per year price range (don't feel like going 5000 a year though). Just something to get me through one year of school. I don't want a crummy 1.6 liter engine with 140 horsepower, I want something like a manual transmission v6 with 200-250 hp or something higher than 170 without getting too pricy.
