My 1992 ford ranger 2.3 engine failed emissions what do i do?

It is getting to much gas or not enough cutting out replaced mass air flow senser please help

How could it fail emissions it's a '92 vehicle? Emissions tests are only required for 1996 and post '96 vehicles.

You can try a can of a liquid product found in auto parts stores ( I don't recall the exact name. This product claims to allow the vehicle to pass emissions testing

  • How do you determine if your car is under California or Federal emissions if your emissions sticker is gone? I have a 1993 ford taurus 3.8L V6 GL 4dr. Sedan. I need to know if my car is under California or federal emissions. I know you are suppose to have a sticker on your car that tells you but mine was destroyed over time so I really don't know. Is their another way to get this information? How would I find out?
  • Failed emissions test trouble code P0462? I have a 2004 Ford Taurus that couldn't pass the emissions test due to this code P0462. Is this a faulty fuel level sensor? I had a problem about 1yr ago with the gas gauge showing the empty when it wasn't. But that seems to be ok now. Or could it be a fuel pump? I'm not sure what to do.
  • Is a 1989 to 1992 Ford Ranger very hard to find? Usually I'm only seeing a 1993 to present Ford Ranger on my streets of town. The old Ford Ranger from 1983 to 1992 (I call 1983 to 1992 Ford Rangers "1980s Ford Ranger Truck") is the ranger I rarely see in my town. I know a lot of those 1980s vehicles are very hard to find but is the 1983 to 1992 Ford Ranger very rare and hard to find? Would it be a good truck to buy if I did find one? Is there not much many of them left in the United States?
  • Is a 1989 to 1992 Ford Ranger rare to find and see? I heard that many of those old trucks and cars from the 1980s/early 90s are very rare to find and are generally not seen on the roads anymore. Is a 1989 to 1992 Ford Ranger hard to find?
