2000 ford ranger coolant system problems?

I have a 2000 ford ranger and was having problems with the coolant system. I flushed my radiator and put new coolant into it because i was told my radiator might have been clogged so flush it. After doing so it was still pulling coolant over and bubbling in the overflow tank. My heat would not work when i first turned on my vehicle and cause the coolant to burst out of the overflow tank. My temp gauge was in the middle at normal temp the whole time. I changed the radiator and cap, put new coolant and burped the system getting the bubbles out and replaced the thermostat and heater valve. I drove the vehicle for about an hour and when i checked the coolant in the radiator when it cooled down it had again pulled coolant out of the new radiator and put it in the overflow tank. Any ideas on what it could be would be greatly appreciated.

Only thing I question with your work is the radiator cap. The caps are specific to each model or vehicle. If yours calls for 15 lb and you put a 12 lb cap on there, it will release early into the reservoir. Check the number stamped on the cap and compare to the old one. And vice-versa if the new cap is higher lbs than stock it will never release and cause hoses to burst.

Blown head gasket.

  • 2002 ford taurus coolant bubbling out of coolant tank cap? Coolant is bubbling out of the tank cap on my taurus. The coolant is a bit over the fill to line. The coolant is the normal green color. I don't think it having a bit of extra coolant in the tank is doing this. The cap itself maybe? I just bought this car and it didn't do this until today.
  • Shifting problems and intake problems? I drive a 1997 ford ranger with a 2.3l automatic. I have recently experienced a hard shifting in my truck even when I'm not on the gas it has problems shifting. And I cleaned my air filter and filter hose that goes to my throttle body and there was transmission fluid in the hose. What can be causing this and how can I fix it or how much will it cost roughly?
  • I have a 1999 ford ranger and i have coolant in one of my vacuum lines? Its the red line that runs to the egr vacuum mod on the passenger side of the motor. The part that the egr line goes to as well. I'm not sure why I have coolant running through a vacuum line. This causes coolant to run to the egr valve so I need to fix it
  • 2000 ford ranger radio problems? I bought a 2000 ford ranger with a non working radio. There's no display, no sound. The buttons on the radio do light up. Is it fixable or do I have to buy a new radio
