Sounds like a starter solenoid issue
Do you have a main fuse to the starter?
A $10 voltmeter could tell you a lot!

You have a starter solenoid attached to the starter. IF you have a fender relay/solenoid in the engine compartment, jump the fender relay (the big battery cables with a heavy wire or jumper cables) and it starts you have either a bad fender relay or an issue with your starter control circuit… Ie, ignition switch, clutch positioning switch, anti theft
