my engine is old but radiator will be new, Red cause leak?

Shell branded antifreezes are good?

The type you select is entirely up to to - to be green (using orange/red antifreeze), environmentally conscious, and pay more for the product, or use the traditional yellow/green Antifreeze, which is poisonous - is the same stuff they use to color MTN Dew, so it can't be that bad? Actually a few tablespoons can cause partial paralysis and renal failure in small rodents or mammals. Therefore, choose according to your wallet and hold your position on protecting the environment.

Leaks occur only if you don't seal your system - proper clamps, close valves, or have a failure. The failure isn't caused by the contents themselves, but by temperature, time and general decay. The brand isn't really important, the type needs to be consistent - either standard (Green/Yellow) or environmental (Orange/Red).

Never go against your manufacturers recommendations. It may cause serious damage or injury. Just use what Ford recommends.

Just use GREEN
