Fords have more head-gasket leaks than any brand of car. The cheap-skates circle the cylinder bores with only four head-bolts instead of five or six as other manufactures do. Ford parts Departments stop carrying parts for any year of Ford quicker than any brand of car.
I would focus on the engine. All 3 were great before they got greedy and stupidly designed, shoddy parts, … I like the 351 Cleveland engine and the windsor (Ford). I like the 383 from Plymouth. I like the 350. Oh goodness, a 402?
… Which engine can you get? All 3 are good choices so long as it is not after 1973.
You can make a muscle car out of any car So pick one you like or do you need to be told what to do?
Ford. Because of Henry Ford is the boss!
Ford GT, no question.
I would get one of the older mustangs like a shelby gt, mach one or cobra gt! Get one with a 351 or 302 boss with a stick shift!
Gm. You can see my choice on my pic.

- How much is car insurance for older muscle cars? I heard that car insurance is pretty expensive for older muscle cars, and I'd like to know around how much a month car insurance would be for a 1968 ford mustang?
- Good first car? NSX? Muscle Car? I'm 15 and starting to think of some cars that I would want (and are possible to obtain, '67 Pontiac GTO '68 Roadrunner Hemi '70 Ford Torino '79 Firebird Formula 400 '85-'90 Camaro '67 Impala '73 Nova '78 Camaro '66 Oldsmobile Toronado So, would the value of the NSX be worth buying and fixing up? And which, if any, muscle car is the top of your list and why?
- Would you consider the ford focus a muscle car or an import/tuner? My friend and I were arguing about this for a while. He says its a FORD so it has to be a muscle car. I said it has no characteristics of a muscle car.
