Car battery died and car stalled when I pushed the window button?

"Hi! I have a 2001 Ford Mustang 3.8L and for 2 weeks the battery light has been on… The battery is brand new about a month ago I got it and the alternator has been running fine. Today the battery died and the car even died while I was driving home… Soon as I jump it it makes a weird noise like a siren pitch from a fire truck but not too loud if you understand… Anyways I pushed the window button to roll the window up and then the engine stalled and battery died. I'm hoping this can be a easy fix… Not sure what to do. I have had ppl tell me it could be the ground wire bad or window motor that drains the battery… Need help as soon as possible.

Alternator might be running, but its not charging. So, replace your alternator.

You probably need a new alternator, have the output checked.

Did it not occur to you that the battery light being on means that your battery is not being charged? You need to get that checked out and see if it is a corroded connection, bad alternator, loose belt or something.

That's not the battery light. That's the warning light to inform you the battery is not being charged. I'm surprised you made it driving for 2 weeks. It must have been daytime driving. The headlight will drain a battery with in 2 hours when the alternator isn't working. The alternator is not "running fine" when the charge warning light is on!
