Auto insurance quotes? (School project)?

Okay so I'm doing a project for driver's ed where we're given money to buy a car and have to insure it for six months. I need to know what the average cost of car insurance for a sixteen yr. Old girl would be. I've tried going onto several online sites but they all ask for my phone number and credit card information and it's just too much for one school project. Here are a few details.
The car is a 2005 ford mustang convertible.
I'm 16.
I just got my license about a month ago.
I live in a rural city in VA.
I have a clean driving record.
I'm single.
I would mostly only be driving to school and back home. (Which is like ten miles)

I'm not expecting to get a perfect answer just an average.

Call up your insurance agent, or find one.

Since you have all the information specifically that you need, it will be easy to get this from an agent, in person.

Make sure you tell them this is for a school assignment.

Speak face to face with a local insurance agent to get an idea of the cost. You will never get a quote online.

"Okay so I'm doing a project for driver's ed where…"
or
"I'm doing a project for driver's ed where…"?

What is the purpose of prefacing a question with "okay so"? Is it proper English?
