I have a E150 Ford Custom Van and can't seem to get it tuned up?
Went to my mechanic to have a tune up it was missing for a week. He replaced, all air filters, gas filter, belt, spark plugs, cap, rotor, wires. It did great for about a week and then it went back to missing but not as bad tho. So he replaced the coil but a used coil. It was fine for a couple of days then it went back to missing. This missing really only happens when your going up a hill at a slow rate of speed. When your driving on the interstate it can do 75 with ease, and does not miss. When the van is cold doesn't seem to miss when starting off in the morning. Van is sluggish all the time. Help?
Added (1). He also replace pcv valve and adjust timing.
Put a brand new factory coil. No joy, have a compression test done on the van.
Putting a used coil on the van was a mistake. Parts that are subject to deterioration and wear should always be replaced with new parts.
- Solar panel on Ford E150 van JMC Tiara Package. Van came w own solar setup but its old and solar panel is tiny. Upgradn to 100w panel? Can I use the cables and solar meter etc (setup van came with) to power the renogy 100w panel? Or do I need to get bigger cables etc
- Should Sears and Ford HIRE Dotard McTiny as their CEO and get profitable again! If he can get Foreign Diplomats and American Lobbyists to? Pay $350.00/night to sleep in a tiny room in an old Post Office and keep it FULL and VERY PROFITABLE, don't you think that he could come up with an idea to save 40+ thousand American jobs?
- Where should i take my mustang to get tuned? I have a 2014 v6 premium mustang and i wanted to get it tuned. My friend and I were deciding what would be the best place to take it. We were thinking about taking it to Hennessey. I know that sounds weird because i only have a v6 and they mostly deal with super cars and what not but they did a ford Taurus so i figured why not mine? Give me your opinion about what you think i should do and give some suggestions.
- I have a 2000 Ford Focus and the turn signals only seem to work when they feel like it What should I do? They either blink, stay just on, or don't work at all and there's no rhyme or reason to it. Any mechanics out there care to explain?
