How to fix this airbag code on my car?
As the title says, I have a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with the 3-3 (33) airbag code. From what I have found and researched on forums, it seems to be the drivers seat pretensioner. Does anyone have experience with this type of code and how to fix it? It's driving me nuts as the car beeps 5 times for a number of times and eventually stops. I want to get it fixed so my airbag system isn't disabled because of this.
You might be able to open that up and clean it out. It could be just junk or gunk in the mechanism… Or, you may need to replace it.
- How to fix 2004 Ford Taurus sel airbag light? I have a 2004 ford taurus sel that I got from a lady who got it from a guy that bought it from the auction. So the car has some minor wear and tear but it does drive. It does have a 44 on the battery, so i don't know if thats the problem like if its weak because it dies after charging it. But what I also need to know is how to get rid of the solid yellow (non blinking) airbag light.
- Car vents suddenly blowing no air after airbag recall? I picked up my 2012 Ford Fusion from an airbag recall fix this morning and now suddenly my vents are not blowing any air! I'm taking it back to the dealership this afternoon, but I'm worried they will tell me if has nothing to do with the work they did. But I know for a fact they were working when I dropped my car off. And when I picked it up, I tried turning my heat on right away… Nothing. I tried turning it to AC. Nothing. How could this have happened with an airbag recall?
- 2013 Ford Focus knee airbag replacement? I bought a salvage rebuildable car from copart auto action that was in a minor crash resulting in minimal front end damage and the drivers knee airbag to go off. I put in a airbag that hasn't gone off but now I'm stuck on what to do. Do the impact sensors need to be replaced along with the module? Or does the module just need to be reset or flashed
- Airbag did not deploy but light is on? I just got a 2004 Ford Escape. So the panel on the passenger side is part of the way off, pretty minor and I was not in an accident. The airbags didn't deploy but the panel appears to have come loose and the airbag light will not turn off. Can this be fixed and is it expensive?
