Wheel bearings are NOT "redressed". When they are worn, they need to be REPLACED with new ones.
Hi yes they will be very distressed after 23 years of use so new ones need to be fitted.
Umm… Not sure what you are asking here… No offense, but if the wheel bearings are going out, then it is time to replace them. If you mean repacked, then yes, on some models the wheel bearing can be repacked. On most, if not all, newer 4wd vehicle bearing have to be bought as an entire hub assembly and can't be purchased separately.
- 1997 Ford Ranger 4.0 V6 won't shift into drive after being driven. Takes longer than should to shift into drive when first started? It will go in reverse fine. First thing in the morning when I leave for work, it will shift into drive on it's own, but takes a bit longer than it should. After getting it warm, won't shift into drive at all. I can shift down to 1st or 2nd, then back into drive and it will "pop up" into drive within a second or 2. I also have a ODB2 error P1744 (Torque Converter circuit).
- Where can i buy a wiring loom for a ford ka 1992? My central locking and drivers side speaker isn't working and i can see some damage and corrosion to the wiring loom. I just need to find an acceptable one. I'd prefere not to buy from ebay as the quality could be bad and arrise more issues.
- Can I buy a Ford Flex Crossover that I can drive in the uk? I live in the UK and want to buy a Ford Flex Crossover from the UK so I can drive it here too. Is there anywhere in the UK that sells them?
- Insert the key and doesn't turn. Steering wheel locked. Shifter stuck in park. Can start by mechanical part under wheel. What could it be? 1999 ford f150 won't come out of park or start even when I start it using the mechanical part under the steering wheel
