Alignment. Worn suspension. Ball joints. Bushings.
Tire cupping is caused by lack or maintenance. Chevy, Ford, it doesn't matter. Apparently you take better care of your Fords.
- Why do car companies sell in different countries under different names? Why are companies like Chevrolet selling their cars under names like Holden in Australia? I'm not sure if Chevrolet sells in Australia but I do think they do. If they already sell in Australia, what's the point of selling the same thing under Holden? Another example is some Ford cars are sold under Lincoln, and Chevrolet sells the same thing under GMC. Buick and Opel? What's with this?
- Can I swap 15 inch tire an rim with a 16 inch tire an rim? The rims an tires are off a dodge van, they are 5 hole rims, the car I want to put them on is a ford taurus with a 16 inch tire on it.
- I have a Ford Ranger 4.0 and the AC doesn't blow very cool air. I want to add refrigerant for very 1st time, never have added to any vehicle? I'm using a gauge to test the pressure. With AC on max the needle moves between 25 and 45, the blue normal range. The compressor cuts on at 45 and off at 25. This happens continuously. The outside temp is 80 degrees. Not exactly understanding what I was doing, I added a little refrigerant and now the needle goes to 47 in the yellow range. Will this do any harm? Can I remove the excess refrigerant? If so, how? Is the system fully charged? If so, why isn't the air cooler?
- Blew my tire, now it's facing a different direction than other ones? So, a couple of my tires have been leaking since I got the car. Its a 2008 Ford Focus. I ran over a pretty hefty curb. My tire blew. My boyfriend went to put the spare on, wasn't one in my trunk, So he grabbed his. After finally getting the car lifted, he was having a really hard time getting the nuts off. Then he realized the tire was turned. Not a lot. But my other front tire was facing straight. So what could this be? He thinks it's the steering rod.
