Will 225/65/r17 fit a car with 225/50r17 tires?

I have a set of the 65s that are tread-less winter tires that cost a grand from a previous Ford Focus. I want to use them on my Ford Fusion since they cost so much. Will they still fit since they are both 17"?

Yes they will.

Yes. The only difference is the tires will be a little bit shorter which can minutely affect the car's speed reading and fuel economy.

Completely different tires, they'll fit on the rims but will be completely wrong and the Fusion won't drive properly at all.

They should fit, they would just be a little wider (which is good).

They are the same width tyre and will fit the rims. But these tyre have a much taller sidewall… Your speedo will not be correct and they may foul the wheel arches under load

Yeah they will fit, just watch out on full wheel lock turns and sharp turns. It'll change your speedometer by roughly 2mph.

Treadless Winter tires? When you drive in snow or rain you WANT tread that grabs the snow. A treadless tire will just spin in the snow and you'll slide into other vehicles because you can't stop sliding. Treadless tires are used for drag racing.
