Ford Windstar 02 rpms rev when i turn steering?

Is this normal or should be checked out it doesn't rev much and I hear like a quick sucking noise or like release of air type sound also when I turn steering wheel left or right

This is not normal. Check your power steering fluid level first. If it is low add the correct type fluid. If it is not low seek professional help.

Normal it's controlled by the Computer when the PSP switch signals high pressure, and the TPS is at idle, the IAC raises RPM…
Can't hear it from here… You described normal operation and sounds. Verify your fluid is at max level.
Then quit doing that… Ford and others have been using power steering switches to increase idle speed when turning to prevent stalling since the 60's… An old noncomputer controlled 64 Sprint was the first time I heard of it… The customer had a valid complaint… That increase from idle to 2000+rpm, did make cornering dangerous… That's back in days anyone could fool around and mess things up under the hood.
