Added (1). I'm really torn between these three cars 1) Ford is american, i'm looking to buy a foreign car. Ford would also be a stick shift, the others would be automatics.
2) Nissan Sentra has a CVT transmission, I'm still unsure exactly what this is so if someone could explain this in easy terms would you recommend this transmission
3) Kia Forte is what I'm leaning for overall, but I''m unsure if Kia's as cars are good, but I've read elsewhere to go with this specific Kia over the Nissan Sentra
I would go with the Sentra… Because i don't like Kia they're cheaply made and i wouldn't want to own a manual car if it wasn't a sports car. None of them will hold their resale value very well but the Sentra will probably do the best in that department.
You should also consider the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, and Mazda 3. They're around the same price range but they're better in my opinion.
A CVT is basically an automatic transmission without the gears. They tend to be more fuel efficient but quite irritating if you are accustomed to a manual or conventional automatic because the noise a CVT produces when you floor it sounds like a a slipping transmission. But it's a nuisance to some.
- I need a little advice in buying a new car? I have a great steady job and I can afford to buy a car from the dealership. It is the first time I ever go to a dealership for a car. I'm just wondering if there's any good reliable brands you can recommend to look out for? How is Ford, in your opinion? Also, what are the next steps one takes after buying a new car? Tags, plates, and insurance right?
- I have a ford forte when I turn my air con on it makes a noise then my car stalls? Ever since it did that even with the air con off it makes like a funny hissing/airflow noise it's hard to explain. I'm worried because I'm ment to be going on a long drive tomorrow
- 2015 Ford Fusion S, 2015 Chrysler 200 LX or 2015 Kia Optima LX? All pretty similarly priced. F and C have 3 year b - b and 5 year power warranty while the K has 5 year 100k everything.
- Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra, Nissan Altima, Ford Focus, Kia Forte? I'm having a really hard time choosing between which car I want. I'm 22 years old, I'm in college. I want a car that's fast, reliable, good on gas, and one that's able to keep its value.
