If there's a recall on my car, will I be provided a rental car while it's being repaired?

I got notice yesterday that my 2012 Ford Focus has been recalled due to a transmission problem and they said I need to bring it back to the dealership to be repaired immediately. I'm a student and need my car to get to and from classes and other obligations.

From what I'm gathering from my research on the internet, the recall was put in place February of 2014 and just got notice 6 months later. Had they notified me in a reasonable time frame or even just two weeks ago, it would not have been an issue because I was on summer break.

I just want to know if I will be provided a rental car by the dealership while my car is repaired.

Added (1). According to this website, the recall was put in place October 30, 2013

You need to contact he dealer and arrange a time for the work. Often this can be done while you wait. My last car recall was done while I drank a free cup of coffee.
My wife's car was the same.
If it is gong to be longer see if they will provide you with a courtesy car but you may have to transfer your insurance.
Until you talk to the dealer and identify the Issue and how long to fix you are just panicking. It may not even need a fix.
All cars get recalls and need servicing it is just part of life
