Ford Focus 2001, tempeture gauge/fan problems. I need your

So I have a 2001 Ford Focus that is in decent shape. Recently, my outlet heater hose busted. We got the new part on and put it on and the car is running. When driving over about 15 minutes, my tempeture gauge will start to go up on high, so I will blast my heat and it will go back down to normal in the middle or a little above the middle line. But on hot sunny days the tempeture gauge goes up even faster and even with the heat blasting, when I'm at a stop light or stuck in trafic the gauge will go up. I was drivign to the ferries and my car was fine until I got into the ferry line and then that is when I noticed the temp. Guage was almost hitting the red! So I got out of line and started driving and it went back down to normal. Then I got back in line and it did the same thing until I started dricing back home. I'm pretty sure that the fans are working, I can hear them. They are actually really really LOUD. Too loud it sounds like but they're still blowing air. Any suggestions? My car has the two fans. I'm not sure if I need a new fan or if the radiator has to be flushed?

Are you sure that you completely refilled the cooling system after replacing that heater hose? It's possible that you are low on coolant.

After checking that… I think I'd try a radiator flush. (You may have to replace the radiator.)

If the thermostat was stuck closed, the radiator fans wouldn't come on.

If the water pump wasn't working, you probably wouldn't have been able to bring the temp back down with the heater.

Low flow through the radiator explains everything; the cause is either too little coolant, or a clogging radiator.

I have recently experienced a hard shifting in my truck even when I'm not on the gas it has problems shifting. And I cleaned my air filter and filter hose that goes to my throttle body and there was transmission fluid in the hose. What can be causing this and how can I fix it or how much will it cost roughly?
