2014 Ford Focus problems?

In a few months I'm going to be getting a new car and I really like the ford focus(2015) but the only thing is, I've heard a lot of people say ford sucks anymore. I guess the problems are coming from the transmission? I've read that the VCT is horrible. Anybody else having issues?

I've been driving Fords since dirt was first invented - Have three right now. As to overall reliability, Ford is the biggest player in the cop car market, & they aren't know for their gentle driving habits. The people who usualy dump on them are the kids who bought a third-hand junker for $ 350 & then complain when the tranny burns-out. I'm quite happy with my three, & I'm looking at a bright yellow F-250 4x4 diesel to maybe add a fourth.

The new focuses are good cars, get great gas mileage. But they do have problems with clutch shudder. But that is covered under the customer satisfaction program up to 7 years or 100k miles.

  • Shifting problems and intake problems? I drive a 1997 ford ranger with a 2.3l automatic. I have recently experienced a hard shifting in my truck even when I'm not on the gas it has problems shifting. And I cleaned my air filter and filter hose that goes to my throttle body and there was transmission fluid in the hose. What can be causing this and how can I fix it or how much will it cost roughly?
  • 2014 Dodge Dart vs 2014 Ford Fusion? Only ppl who know about cars or own one of the two! And if you can please specify which model. I just want to know which is better from looking at specs or tell me what you think if you own one!
  • 2014 Chevy Impala or 2014 Ford Fusion or Taurus? It's going to be for college so I need a good reliable car that will last me a while which one would be best? Or Kia Optima
  • Vibrating problems with Ford Focus Zetec 2014? My focus has 39k 1.6 disel, I have vibration around the pedals area and air vents area, I have had the car fully checked by Ford and Vauxhall who are unable to locate a problem, they say engine mounts are fine also, any ideas what could be causing this as it's very annoying?
